Collection of different types of fundraising cookbooks

Types of Cookbook Fundraisers

At CookbookFundraiser.com, the first step in creating a cookbook fundraiser is to determine what type of cookbook fundraiser you want to hold. We offer two basic types:

Custom Group Cookbooks

This fundraiser has your participants submit, their favorite recipes and you design your own cookbook filled with tried-and-true recipes. Everything you need is provided for you.

This type of cookbook fundraiser has a longer timeline since the first phase is to collect the recipes and the second phase is to sell the cookbooks.

At the same time, participants, and their friends and family are more likely to purchase a custom cookbook because their recipes are included.

ReadyMade Cookbooks

The second type of cookbook fundraiser is using a collection of ready-made cookbooks filled with time-tested family recipes. These cookbooks are already designed and edited. Your group name will be placed on the cover and you’ll have two pages of text and photos that you can use to explain your group and how the funds will be used.

The timeline for a ready-made cookbook fundraiser is much shorter as there is no need to collect recipes. You could start selling from day one.

Take Your Pick

The choice of which cookbook fundraiser is right for your group is up to you, the coordinator and your fundraising committee. You also could have the best of both worlds and create your own custom cookbook and offer the ready-made cookbooks as well.
